When Birds Fall Out of the Sky!
So......I purposefully ignored all news, facebook, and blogs for the last two weeks. In order to make merriment with the family for Christmas, and New Years. You know...try and live like it was 1992 again, when cell phones, and the Internet were not an everyday part of life. Try and swallow a,"blue pill" for the holidays. Only to wake up this morning, to find out that I'm living in an Alfred Hitchcock movie. Birds suddenly dropping dead from the sky in Beebe Arkansas. Sheesh! I tried to listen to Alex this morning, but I just couldn't hack it. I'm already the kind of person who tries to eat, wash, and live as," Au natural" as possible. Where can we run to if we can't breathe the air!? This kind of stuff just freaks me out. It doesn't take much to freak me out. Just ask my husband. He's always the voice of reason. Thank goodness I have him. Anyway....here's what the local news in Arkansas reported about the freakish bird incident. Don't you just love how the news reports this.....just a mystery, no answers, some testing will be done but we'll never tell you the results....just go on with life...la,la,la,la...... I wonder how many people in that local area will just shrug this incident off? I Hate that, yes with a capital H! What do you think? Do thousands of birds just randomly drop dead out of the sky? Come on! This smells of Big government, and environmental testing. Did you see the guys in suits, and gas masks while picking up the dead birds? Oh Well.... Happy New Year...la,la,la,la......(tires to swallow a blue pill).

Awwww. I know how you feel, but as they said in "James & the Giant Peach", Roland Dahl's fabulous book & the charming movie version, "Try to look at it another way."
ReplyDeleteIf more obviously strange things keep happening, more people will wake up, and say, "Hey, What???? What? what? Hey? Hey?"
And remember above all there is our Heavenly Father looking down on everything. WE WILL SURVIVE! We're on the winning side, never doubt He cares for those birds, but much more does He care for us.:)
Amen! Thanks for the encouragement. There is hope in Christ our savior.
